- After Tok moyang Zainal passed away, Nek Klang remarried but to an Indian man who converted to Islam. When Nek Klang died, her Indian Muslim husband inherited her estate. Nek Klang had also transferred her many land titles (inherited from Tok moyang Zainal) to her second husband before she died. When Nek Klang died, none of Tok moyang Zainal's people received anything.

Relatives:
Nek Klang is related to Tun Dr Siti Hasmah and her parents. Nek Klang's father and Tun Dr Siti Hasmah's father were brothers. The two brothers were originally from Banda Hilir, Melaka. They moved from Bandar Hilir to work in Klang.
