I would like to know if anyone in Penang knows Umi Sheikha. She is my father's aunt. My father never told me but his cousin Syed Mohamad bin Syed Omar informed me. I have never met her. I know roughly where she stays, on the small link road between Solok Pemancar and Brown Garden. Siapa tau tolong bagi tau. I need her photo for my family blog. I will try and meet her one day, in sya Allah.

Affandi and I visited Siti Aishah and family at their home in Panji, near JPS Kelantan on Saturday, 11 January 2014. Her house is OTW to the airport.
We discussed about our relatives in Jelutong and other places. Sheikh Abdul Halim knows many of the elderly relatives in Penang. He doesn't know arwah Prof. Syed Mohsin Syed Sahil Jamalullail and family. He knows Syed Mohamad bin Syed Omar, anak Fatmah Aziz Alyamani. He knows all 4 of Ami Aziz's children - Fatma, Latif, Rashid and Zakaria. Fatma and Zakaria passed away. One of the men is in his 70s and unmarried. He mentioned a few names whom I don't know at all - Fuad.
According to them, Umi Sehka is adopted. She is a Chinese? Her daughter Faten is married to Prof Wan Fauzy Wan Ismail (PTPM), the younger brother of Datin Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, wife of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (PKR).

Umi Sekha
Syed Mohamad bin Syed Omar (cucu Ami Aziz) said I have to pass by Dr Che Lah's house, in order to go to Siti Sekha @ Umi Sekha's house. If I remember correctly, Umi Sekha's house is near Prof. Asma Ismail's house, on the tiny road that links Bukit Pemancar to the historical areas of Brown Garden, Gelugor and Minden Heights (hillock; Datuk Jenaton's land). Solok Pemancar is a dead end road.
Umi Sekha is Syed Mohamad's aunt. She is a famous chef and caterer in Penang. She is also a philantrophist and donates a lot of food to NGOs, etc. She also hosted Raya 2013 for CAP. She once cooked for a computer science workshop at the R&D office, USM. My sister Sharifah and I like Umi Sekha's cooking.
I saw Umi Sekha's photo at a food testing ceremony where Prof. Wazir Jahan Karim's son cooked some cuisine. The son now runs a restaurant close to the Sun Yat Sen Museum at Acheen St, George Town in Penang. I can't find that photo.
Whom did Umi Shekha marry? Who is her husband? How many children does she have? Where are they today?
