Sheikh Mohd Sahabudin

Tuan Sheikh Mohd Sahabudin

Tuan Sheikh Mohd Sahabudin.
Imam Masjid Batak, Singapore.

Tuan Sheikh Mohd Sahabudin is a different person than Datuk Shahbuddin bin Haji Mohd Amin, founder of Masjid Banda Hilir, Melaka. Datuk Shahbuddin was a bachelor.

My great-great-grandfather is Sheikh Mohd Sahabudin (based on Wasiat Hj Md Sharif). A photo of Sheikh Mohd Sahabudin showed a small built Malay man with turban and wearing baju Melayu, kain pelekat and spectacles.

My great-great-grandfather Sheikh Mohd Sahabudin was formerly Imam Masjid Batak in Singapore. The village was levelled in the 1970s. We do not know what happened to him nor where and when he died. We do not know where he is laid to rest.
