Abdul Aziz bin Ibrahim was a publisher in Jelutong, Penang. What was the name of his publishing company? He was the son-in-law of the UMNO President.* He belonged to the Radical party. Both he and wife lost the election.

Dr S Mohd Baboo (UMNO-Muslim) and Mr Aziz Ibrahim (Radical). Both were defeated last year, Dr Baboo in Kelawei Ward and Mr Ibrahim in Jelutong. Dr Baboo is a former Government medical officer now in private practice, while Mr Ibrahim is a publisher whose wife contested unsuccessfully for  UMNO last year.
1st UMNO President was Dato Onn Jaafar.
2nd UMNO President was Tunku Abdul Rahman
*Dato Onn Jaafar left UMNO in August 1951 to form the Independence of Malaya Party (IMP). 
Tunku Abdul Rahman took over as the 2nd UMNO President.
