Room rate was RM350 for 2 nights. Deposit was RM100.
Facilities fair (broken door chain lock; sink water runs out)
Hilly place and not suited for wheel chairs except at main hall. Lots of stairs and slopes.
Nice setting but seems haunted at midnight (still ok to sleep alone).

Update: 1 September 2016Nakhoda Nan Intan's relative, Dato' Setia's sister married to Dato' Jenaton/Jannaton. The descendants of both Datuk Jenaton dan Nakhoda Nan Intan attended the family reunions held in Malaysia.
The last reunion (6th) was held at Vistana Hotel, Penang on 2 June 2013. It came out in the newspapers. I have uploaded some photos of the event in my Facebook:

The next family reunion (7th) will be on Sunday, 27 November 2016 in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Usually, the President will gave a talk about the clan's history and highlight important events in the history and point out significant elders.
Other interesting things at the family reunion, there were booths selling a lot of useful things, including the clan's rice called Beras Jenan. It is locally grown in Pahang. Distribution is limited for the time being. You can ask for more details in Facebook.
The family reunion is also good to attend as you can join the Koperasi Datuk Jenaton. I joined for a small fee. You can ask for more details in Facebook.
The family reunion is good because you get to meet many descendants of both Datuk Jenaton and Nakhoda Nan Intan.
When you arrive for the family reunion, you have to register on site and pay up. On the panel boards will be all the family trees, nicely printed and mounted. You can check where you are in the family trees. Even if you don't know where you belong and on which family tree, it is ok to join. Then you will find familiar faces whom should be able to help you and be able to tell you where you should be and in which family tree. There will be many people on site to assist you. Don't be afraid. You will like the family reunion. There were very interesting people in the last family reunion that I attended in Penang.
Even if the family tree isn't complete and you cannot find your name, it is ok. There will be some familiar faces at the family reunion. Then you can ask them to brief you. Then you can visit the members at home and follow-up. I followed up with Ustaz/Imam Sheikh Abdul Aziz and his mother Tok Kalthom.
I met Sheikh Abdul Aziz at kenduri arwah Prof Syed Mohsin Jamalullail in Kelantan. Then I met him again at Masjid Batu Uban in Penang. Then he took me to see his mother, Tok Kalthom.
Tok Kalthom knows my nenek moyang, but my nenek moyang was not in any of the family trees. So my family tree is still broken, hanging, in pieces and invisible. I just know which part of the family tree of Nakhoda Nan Intan I belong to. I don't know specifically as I am still searching for proper links.
