I would think that maybe after Syed Sheikh Alhady left Kg Hulu, no more Syeds remained in Malacca.

Actually, there are still Arabs in Malacca - Al-Habshi/Al-Habshee.

Abdul Rashid Makawi came from Makkah?

Mohd Hassan Al-Khaiyath (Al-Khayyat) came from Makkah (from Tok Kalthom, 5 June 2013).

Fatma Al-Yamani married to Syed Omar Syed Mohamad.

I asked Tok Kalthom for Ami Aziz Alyamani's siblings. I also asked her about Fatma Alyamani. She said Fatma was higher up than Ami Aziz Alyamani in the family tree.
