Banda Hilir Family Tree

1. Haji Shahbudin bin Arom (asal China/makam Tengkera)

Haji Shahbudin bin Arom was a Chinese from China. He sailed to Malacca and resided at Tengkera (a Chinese populated area under Dutch Malacca) or Kg Hulu (an Indian populated area under Dutch Malacca). He converted to Islam. He built Masjid Kg Hulu in the 1720s. His wife and family are unknown. Haji Shahbudin possibly had 5-6 generations of descendants up to 1834.

2. Datuk Sahabudin bin Mohd Amin (asal Cirebon/makam Jalan Panjang, Banda Hilir)

According to Abang Moin, Datuk Shahabudin bin Hj Mohd Amin was from Cirebon in Java (asal Cirebon, Jawa). He was from Kadilangu in Java.

3. Ismail (asal Yaman)

Ismail was from Yemen (Alyamani). Ismail married Inche Nyonia binte Tuan Sheik Sahabudin. They had 3 sons: Hj Mohd Sharif bin Ismail, Hj Mohd Noordin bin Ismail and Zainal bin Ismail. Where are Ismail and Inche Nyonia buried?

4. Makam Shahbuddin Al-Yamani (Tengkera)

From Bapak: There is a Makam Shahbuddin Al-Yamani in Tranquera, Malacca (orang India Tranquera). He is an Indian and has relatives in Singapore. Whom did Shahbuddin Al-Yamani marry? Where are their descendants? Where are his relatives in Singapore?

5. Inche Nyonia binte Tuan Sheik Sahabudin

Is she Inche Nyonia binte Tuan Sheik Sahabudin Al-Yamani? Was she the daughter of Shahbuddin Al-Yamani in Tengkera?
